My sister and I visited the Edinburgh Fringe Festival in the Royal Mile. It was pouring down with rain [ the usual Scottish weather], I managed to get a few photographs of some of the street performers. These two men were doing a juggling act whilst he was balancing on his partners shoulder.

This house, which is known locally as The Gingerbread House, used to be occupied by the Park Keeper it is however no longer lived in and now houses office equipment.

Taken on Christmas Eve's Day in Edinburgh's Old Town.

Tutorial:

Open image in Photoshop and Duplicate image ( Layer > Duplicate Layer)
Go To Image then choose Gradient Map ( Image >Gradient Map)
Choose the Bronze Gradient and tick the reverse box and okay.
Change the blending mode to Color and opacity setting to 66% then Flatten your image and save.

I am not sure whether you would class this as a monochrome photograph, its known as "Colour Accent" on my old camera ( I have a new one now) it appears to be inheritantly black and white but pics up hints of colour with it -in this case red.
