Wordless Wednesday: Little Girl
Many of the children in Greece are poor and busk for money from tourists, we saw many playing accordions like this little girl in Athens too. I edited this image in Adobe Camera Raw ( although you don't get all the features that ACR offer to raw file users, you can still bring a jpg file into it), cropped the image and did a bit of selective colour editing.

Beautiful shot, Jane, especially in black and white with the accordion highlighted. I like the enigmatic expression on the girl's face -- it could be interpreted so many ways.
Thanks Allyson, and thanks for dropping by:)
Love it, Jane!
It's a powerful photo, it's unfortunate that children have to busk like this. There's a sadness in her eyes.
@ Al: I know, its a shame that Greece is so poor, though perhaps not quite as poor as Malta is.
