Kieselsteinchen ;-)
Oh wonderful shot - so familiar to me too as I go to the beach most days - infact as i write this a certain german shepherd is giving me one of those looks...."Mum never mind your laptop - what about the beach!" lol! Fortunately I meet my friend at 11am so will make a move now----well 5 minutes??? lol!
I really like this...excellent photo share.
DAPPLED SUNLIGHT on Plumbago Blossom I'd love to have you visit with me today if you can.
I shall drop by soon Anni:) Thanks for visiting everyone, yes I love the beach too.
You are tempting me to go to the shore and sort through the lovely pebbles. Neat shot, Jane!
Fantastic macro. The different colors, textures and lighting make this shot so beautifully artistic. Well done.
I love pebbles - these look so polished as if the ocean waves have just been washing over them. Great picture Jane.
Looks like stone heaven! I put some similar stones in my fish tank. I love the browns. :)
A very unique shot!
I can't help thinking as I glanced over the rocks for different shapes and colors that some look like teeth. :)
Thanks for your visit.
In this heat we are having, this photograph is so welcome! It is cooling and relaxing and I have to get down to the lake to cool off!

Thanks everyone for your visit:)
@Rosie: That's what did happen, they are wet from the sea, I love the textures and colours too, there was sand as well as pebbles and despite the sea being a little on the cold side you could swim in it without hurting your feet on any large stones on the bottom.
@ EG: I love doing that too;)
@Poetic: Thanks glad you liked it:D
@Lisa: I bet your fish is very proud of his home.
Beautiful ! I could use them in my garden !
