This was taken two weeks before Christmas, we are still getting snow showers every now and then since the cold snap returned but we are not quite as affected by it as some parts of the country, which makes a change from 2010.

Scenic Sunday: Frozen Trees

Taken on December 21st, and one of our coldest days on record at minus 13 degrees below. Naturally I didn't stay out long, however, not only were the trees covered in ice and snow but they were also covered in hoar frost. I am surprised they are still living after this winter.
