Beautiful 'Old World' photo.
Excellent detail! It's such an ornate pier.
Interesting lines In your composition. Good use of b&w images. Would not think this was a time to go to Brighton Pier, but I see you were most successful there.
Very vintage looking!
What a beautiful shot, postcard scene.
Visiting from BLACK AND WHITE WEEKEND.
FRANKLY MY DEAR
@Taken for Granted: Well it was cold that's for sure, my Sister and I grew up in East Sussex and I was actually born in Brighton so this was a trip down to our roots so to speak for just 2 days. Of course it would of been better in the Summertime I think.
Beautiful b&w.
this looks old. Would like to see the inside :)
@NatureFootstep: Its still a working amusement pier, a bit deserted in the wintertime but has all the amusements and the fun stuff all the way to the end. Its late Victorian, there used to be three piers but both the Chain Pier are gone and the West Pier ( previous entry) is in ruins now. I chose black and white for a lot of my shots from Brighton since, it was a very dull cloudy day and I wanted to give them a vintage look.
