Camera Critters: Orphaned Lambs
The farm just down the road from us let us see some of their newborn and sadly orphaned lambs, their coats are very close laying and course and sort of feel like a thick wool carpet. I used the neutralizer and warming filters in Topaz Adjust 5 on this photo to boost some details and warm it up a bit.

They're adorable!
Adorable lambs, how did they end up orphaned? Beautiful shot. Happy Sunday!
@ Eileen: The farm gets a lot of casualties, sheep seem to be very vulnerable and seem to have a "death wish" in that they appear to die more often than not. They bury any that die, they are very nice people even though they have a business. They will have some Scottish Blackfaced lambs born soon too.
What cute lambs, it's unfortunate they're orphaned.
@ Al: I know, they are well cared for though so that is something.
Wow they are so cute!!

Thanks Kim, they are adorable aren't they? Such lovely little things.
Poor lambs! Beautiful capture of them though..
Beautiful creatures! There is something sad and wistful about animals so vulnerable in our care. Sheep and lambs count on us to be kind.
How lovely they are! I hope the best for their future!
