You cannot beat a bit of beach debris to take a photograph of for its texture alone. Taken on the beach near Rowardennan on the banks of Loch Lomond last September.
oh yes, lovely textures! (and so different from a beach photo taken here on florida's gulf coast - where the sand is like white sugar and there are shells instead of pine cones and pebbles!)
