Camera Critters: Iguanas @ St Thomas

DSCN5365

My sister and I went on a cruise to the Caribbean at Christmas, one of the destinations was at St Thomas in the US Virgin Islands. These Iguanas were sunbathing and wandering about the docks near Charlotte Amalie.

Have a great weekend everyone!

@ Chubskulit: I don't know, maybe it got it trapped in something and shed it.

@ Denise: We saw a lot of wildlife on this trip, it was nice to see these, thanks for visiting:)

Great sighting of the iguanas. They seem to be a common sight in the Caribbean.

What interesting looking creatures. It almost looks like they have manes that run from the top of their head down their back.

My son used to have an iguana! Lovely thing, but he wasn't real great at making that daily salad!

Cheers from Cottage Country!
Thanks for visiting.
