Skywatch Friday: Cloudscapes Over Northern Spain

DSCN4039

DSCN4043

Unfortunately the weather was unsettled for most of the first half of our cruise, and I couldn't see the Pyrenees due to the cloud coverage.

Two shots of clouds over Northern Spain.

@ jeannette: Yes I took them from the window, I have flown over the Pyrenees before but never got to photo them, and unfortunately they were invisible due to extensive cloud coverage, so I couldn't get to capture them:(

@ Jidhu: Thanks, hope you have a great weekend and thanks for dropping by;:)

Happy to see someone else who takes cloud pictures from the plane! I like to do that when I have a chance...and also to take them from a car (not when I'm driving)...

I used the SWF randomizer and you popped up! I WAS lucky!

I know it's not quite the same as viewing the Pyrenees but those clouds do make for a lovely photograph!

Even if the mountains were covered, these are still lovely shots. Nothing wrong with blue skies and white puffy clouds. :)

My entry.

@ Sallie: Yes I love seeing "the weather" from an airplane, I use my landscape scene mode to capture them as you need infinity focus because of the window.

@ Nancy: I love "fine weather" clouds too, the mountains were completely covered in a big sheet of cloud, it wasn't worth taking, although I do love how blue the sky is up there. These were taken just after cross over them, and there were a few developing thunderclouds around too.

Thanks everyone for dropping by, have a great weekend:)
