My Father sold the Sony and Panasonics on Ebay, the Sony was a DSLR camera and he now has a Sony Nex which is a Point and Shoot but its kind of a hybrid between a P.S and a DSLR. Had a look at this old Canon the other day, its viewfinder is tiny compared to the Coolpix one, I agree that there is nothing wrong with a Point and Shoot style camera, far lighter and easy to use especially for travel.

@ Arija: I think Urban areas have there charm too, and are just interesting photographically, but I understand that some architecture can be quite ugly at times and that the countryside is a refreshing change.

@ Lesley: Yes that was better, its just you could feel the other peoples footsteps as you walked on it and it was quite disconcerting.

Thanks for visiting everyone, hope you have a great week.Janehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02628856831321674533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509391264706575711.post-11040378266979427262011-07-04T03:09:03.447+01:002011-07-04T03:09:03.447+01:00It seems we have a lot of footbridges this time ar...It seems we have a lot of footbridges this time around. This one is particularly lovely spanning such a wide river. A very charming scene that seems every-day for you but not so for those from the 'colonies' where the normal cityscape has neither the antiquity nor that old world charm except in a g=few places.Arijahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03720793296992474762noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6509391264706575711.post-69137425376304138372011-07-04T01:12:53.439+01:002011-07-04T01:12:53.439+01:00I like this elaborate bridge made for pedestrians....I like this elaborate bridge made for pedestrians.
