We used to pick wild blackberries when we lived near a lake here in Oregon -- they taste wonderful... and they look a lot like what you call brambles ... Jane said...: @Fun60: No, only time I have ever picked any was when we used to live in East Sussex, but we were more fond of picking Strawberries ( we used to eat more than we picked LOL ) in the summertime at PYO venues.
