Venice is on my must-see list. I love how you've captured the classic image, with the tourists to make it complete!

Lovely to see your photo and hope your gondola ride was a great experience! Mine wasn't, but enjoyed being in Venice and Italy.

@ Jan: I have never actually been on the Gondolers all the times we have visited the city. Venice is lovely though, I am hoping to see it at night this summer when we visit it again as that would be quite an interesting experience to see it at nighttime.

Calling by as another Watery Wednesday participant, how appropriate I should visit you as I live in Italy. Great natural shot.

The boats are cute, but I loved the city more!:)

When in Venice it's required that one takes a ride in a gondola, isn't it? And, were you not amazed at how ornate the decorations and furnishings were in the gondolas? It's like there's a competition among the boaters. BTW, couldn't get more beautiful that your home waters. I want to return to Scotland some day.

What a nice ride! I have not been there, but I can get by with our own Venice Beach and Venice Canals.

Everybody is obliged to ride that boat when in Venice and have their photo taken, haha. That is a cool and beautiful shot, a really tourist shot. I haven't been to Venice though.
