Thanks everyone for visiting, it was a great display. These were shot handheld as I didn't have a tripod at the time.

I haven’t been to a fireworks spectacular in years and years. The noise really does something to my ears and head. I do love to look at photos like this. It makes me realize what beauty I am missing. genie

@ Genie: This display was set to film music from the 1960's -I took some video footage too. The fireworks were on the castle -you could still hear them of course but they were not as loud as they would be at a local display.
