Are you sure that if frangipani? It looks remarkably loke Oleander to me. Rome seems hardly warm enough to sustain Frangipani outdoors.

They had Oleanders too( In Taomina) and Bouganvillea( which I also photographed), Rome is very hot in the summer months-it certainly was this year anyway. Thanks for enjoying the photo though:) The Forum is full of flowers including Wisteria.

I never have seen frangipani...it looks wonderful and I think it is scented too.

Is that what frangipani is? I have seen it as part of a perfume or incense, but had never seen the flower before!! It is lovely!
