Great capture of a gorgeous owl Jane! You are in the UK? We have an Inverness here in California, in Marin County.

What kind of owl is that and does it travel with you?

Beautiful eyes and those talons are awesome aren't they?

what a beauty! i thought it was an interesting location but then i read it's a rescue owl so that makes sense.

Thanks all of you for dropping by, I think the owners/rescuers show them to the public everyday ibeati, but I am not sure since I don't live in the city itself. This is Inverness in Scotland Larry, I would love to see the Calafornian one someday, I think there is even an Inverness near Hong Kong! They are beautiful animals, when we lived down south in East Sussex someone had one for a pet, a bengal eagle owl called Harry, I suspect he was also a rescue owl since they are endangered species.
